Civic Leadership and Service Series

The Ferré Institute's Civic Leadership and Service Series (CLASS) continued to host engaging discussions with public service leaders in civic engagement and leadership, community infrastructure, and social justice. Since summer 2021, the Civic Leadership and Service series has hosted more than a dozen high-profile speakers like David Lawrence Jr. (Former Miami Herald Publisher and Founder of the Children Trust) and Cecile Scoon (President of the League of Women Voters of Florida) with hundreds of attendees. Students, faculty, staff, and the public have the opportunity to ask questions and engage with the speakers.
